Why shouldn't it work?

The entire Congress of the United States is corrupt. And I mean both Houses, and I mean both major parties.

I realize that a few Members of each House are trustworthy, but, as a group they are absolutely the most corrupt bunch to ever disgrace our Nation.

I November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will stand for re-election; all 435 of them. One third of the Senate, a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election. Vote every incumbent out.

And I mean every one of them. No matter their Party affiliation. Let's start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in corrupting that body, with no political favors owed to anyone but their own constituents. Let's make them understand that they work for us.

They are answerable to us and they simply have to run that body with some common sense.

Two years later, in 2012, vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out.

We can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well.

We, the People, have got to take this country back and we HAVE to do it peacefully.

That's what the Framers of our Constitution envisioned.

 I am also suggesting term limits on the NEW BUNCH --8 YEARS FOR REPRESENTATIVES AND 12 YEARS OF SENATORS. NO EXCEPTIONS. THE LONGER THEY STAY IN OFFICE THE MORE POWER THEY GET AND THEY LOVE IT AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET RE-ELECTED.

WE HAVE TERM LIMITED THE PRESIDENT -- NOW LET'S TERM LIMIT THE LEGISLATORS.

I said this for years. Along with Congress shouldn’t be allowed to approve their own salary increases. It’s like putting the fox in-charge of the chicken coup.   Here is the problem. Congress really sees themselves as joint CEO’s of this nation with the President as really just a figure head. Also the elections every 2 or 6 years is an inconvenience that they just have to deal with. Congress controls the money and controls what laws are voted on. They aren’t going to ever vote on this or even seriously discuss it. Yes, some may have a showing on this and make some speech on the floor of congress as they laugh about it behind closed doors. The only answer is to place the law on a federal election ballot in every state to be voted on by the people. If it passes then it has to become a law and it made retroactive to the current members. This would thin out the crooks quite a bit. Then the normal replacement procedures for each state would go into affect the next day as if the member died or did something criminal. In short; “Current Congress ….. You’re Fired! And there will be changes.”

Even if someone tried; Congress wouldn’t recognize it and would fight against it. There would be so much misinformation flying around like this flu deal flooding the air waves saying that everyone is going to get the swine flu and DIE! So we would have to forcibility removed them from office, put the law in-place and this would be called a “Revolution”. Congress would demand the deployment of the military and National Guard to keep them in power. Of course those in power will use the words like this is criminal, breaksthe constitution, lawyers would try to have the item removed from the ballot so it doesn’t get voted on, SLCU will get involved with rights violation and Unions would stop working. And so on! I’ve thought about this back during the Clinton era. To use a more commonly known quote today of Captain Ramius on the missile boat Red October (Movie); “A little revolution now and then is a good thing. Don’t you think?” In fact it was originally made by Thomas Jefferson during the Shays' Rebellion in Massachusetts in 1786 in a letter to James Madison.

I’ll save you from a semi-long history lesson on how congresses power got unchecked. But I will say it started in 1861 during another revolution. Think about it. Am sure it will hit you. If not then drop be a line and I’ll explain it. I worry that I come across as if am talking down to people.

Dear President Obama:

• You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
• You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
• You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
• You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
• You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
• You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core..
• You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.
• You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.
• You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America' crowd and deliver this message abroad.
• You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.
• You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.
• You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.
• You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.
• You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.
• You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.
• You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.
• You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.
• You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.
• You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.
• You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Now, with the US slipping (Falling really) as a financial power and with indecision in DC on what to do on something simple like Iran or Afghanistan and with Obama tossing so many mixed signals around.  Plus siding with Communist, socialist, dictatorships and terrorist backing countries at the same time pissing off our long time allies.  Who in God’s green earth do you think is going to listen to the rants of a formal world power with more internal problems than it knows what to do about it.  Yes Mike, formal!  We aren’t holding the spot because we can’t make up our mind, we go back and fore on policy, we owe so much money it’s not funny and based on a study of a world think tank the World Power position is moving to China or Russia!  It’s too early to tell because we are going down fast by the bow and no one had a chance to move into position yet.

Roughly every man, woman and child in the US owes China, Japan, France, UN, Great Britain, France and whoever else around $ 50,000.  Do you have that to pay them off?  I know I don’t!  And how long do you think it’s going to take before someone says pay up when we are clearly without question not a world power?  Not that long I can tell you.  They will be swimming around like sharks in a blood filled water.

Back to the issue you mentioned to Melinda.  Would we listen to El Salvador if they complained about something or wanted a World Law changed or enforced!  Nope!  Once we aren’t a world power do you really think that the World is going to abide by that idealism?  NO!  Am a student of history Mike.  Wars for some foolish reason was my passion when I was young.  I read everything on the subject.  Generals, weapons, rules, battles, tactics and leaders; everything!  This idealism you are talking about didn’t happen until 1949 and it was called the “Geneva Convention”.  This only applies to prisons of war.  Not terrorist which are really just criminals!  Here I have no desire to teach you Mike.  Think of this as being like this line; “If you give a man a fish then he eats for a day.  If you teach a man to fish then he eats everyday.”  Go look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geneva_Conventions.

In history Mike, no one!  I mean no one lived by this idea.  Not even the US against my people.  You see Mike am part white but am so Native American.  I was about to tell you about the crimes the European Americans did against my people.  I tell you what Mike.  Go read about what they did to my people.  Am not talking about the “feel good” history.  Am talking about the real history.  You think what happened in Vietnam was bad; you haven’t seen anything compared to what happened to my people.  Go read Mike because as sure as am sitting here.  When those countries come down on this one and it’s a sure thing.  Your wife, kids, their kids and your family will all have to deal with the real world rapidly instead of this liberal trash you believe.  You think you have seen it bad?  You haven’t seen a anything yet!  I can hear in my mind the screaming and cries of women, children and the dying moans of men.  It is unbelievable that the US has this many fools where the cries of both the past and of the future go unheard.

Just sit there and remember all of the good things that “Criminal Obama” has done for you when you see this.  Because unless you kick the bucket before hand.  You will!  Now drop your toys, pick yourself up and start being a man.  It’s a very dangerous world out there Mike.  And no one gives a damn about the US or your liberal ideas.  Ok, I’ll help you get back on course.  If a Muslim kills a Christian child do you know what the other Muslim will do?  Give him a pat on the back and kiss for removing someone that is against them.  Ok, now say it was a Muslim child killed.  They would cut off his head after a quick trail.  How is that for legal system?

Are you starting to wake up yet Mike or do need a truck to land on top of you!  Because if you don’t then it will!  This am so sure of.  It’s a written future.  So pull your head out of your butt and stop being foolish!  If I was 20 years younger Mike I would take you into the field and toss your butt in the grass.  I’ve never meet a liberal, Atheists or a dreamer in a foxhole.  Death is the ultimate teacher.  Only three kinds of people leave a battlefield; the smart, the lucky and the dead.  From what you keep saying you can’t be smart with the foolish crap you keep saying.  So you are left with luck and dead.  Which one are you going to be?

But I think it is unthinkable that the US would support a known socialist that was voted out with a majority vote of 15 – 0. Its democracy in action! The leader wasn’t acting in the best interest of his people and they handed him his pink slip. Would any other employer do any less? In fact, he was legally removed from office for violating his country’s constitution just to extend his powers. He wanted to be the next Castro or Chavez.

Don’t get me wrong. Am not saying that the current guy is any better or worse but am saying that Manuel Zelaya completely over stepped his limits and got slapped for it. The United States should give an apology to the Honduras people for Mrs Clinton’s statement. Obama is big on doing that wrongly for past presidents. Now here is his chance to do it for his administration lack of good reason. And this isn’t the first time Mrs Clinton has misspoke. That woman has a chip the size of Texas on her shoulders. Maybe she should follow Van Jones out the door.  If the Obama administration has sided against a democracy.  Then he better find a thick rug and get to work.
